Vaccine Availability and Updates

Ages 5 and older are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine in Alabama. Visit COVID-19 Vaccine for more information on getting vaccinated.

Outpatient Treatment

Download Best Practices for the Therapeutic Management of Non-Hospitalized Adults with COVID-19. For more treatment resources, visit Prevention and Treatment.

If given early to higher risk people, monoclonal antibody treatment has shown to reduce the amount of coronavirus in your body lessening symptoms and the likelihood you would need to be hospitalized. If you test positive for COVID-19 or are a close contact to a positive case, call your healthcare provider immediately to ask about treatment. Treatment must be provided within 10 days of exposure, symptom onset, or within 10 days of date tested if positive and asymptomatic.

Traveler's Health

If you are traveling within the United States or abroad, be sure you know the travel requirements for COVID-19.
